Wow Rachel. You sure have it together more at 17-18 than I did at that age (1986-1987). Good for you. I saw your quote from Ram Dass — did you ever read his book Be Here Now ? Still in print for 50 years, a total classic. If you are not familiar with it, you are at the ideal age for it. I found a used one with a $3.33 cover price back in 1988 at Capitol Hill Books in Denver after the one at the Auraria Library in Denver seemed to be calling to me from one of the lower shelves in the philosophy section. Anyway, if you’re reading this, and you are not familiar with Be Here Now, check it out. It will probably speak to you in a way that few books do.
